Panorom Tiles
⭐ NEW ⭐
Panorom Tiles feature can improve the loading of 360-degree images in your virtual tour. This option divides your image into smaller pieces called Tiles which will have lower file sizes and will be downloaded much faster than the original 360-degree image.
Getting Started
This tutorial helps you get started quickly to make your first virtual tour within minutes. Here we look at different menus and options and we go through the process of building virtual tours in Panorom.
Tour Settings
Tour settings is for controlling different aspects of your whole tour, such as container height, font size, zoom level, auto-rotate, etc. In this video we dive deep into each option and application of each one.
Responsive vs Fullscreen
There are two modes available in Panorom for adjusting the height of the tour. The first one is Responsive height where you configure the tour height in pixels for different device widths. The second one is Fullscreen, where the tour expands to fill the whole width and height of the screen. The responsive height is useful when you want to place your tour alongside other information. The fullscreen is useful when you want your users to fully focus on the tour and have the full room to move around your tour.
Hotspots
Hotposts are for connecting your scenes in the virtual tour. In this video, you learn about different configuration options of Hotspot menu, different ways of setting scene/target scene's direction and how to choose the appropriate icons for your Hotspots.
Changing Start Scene
The main way to change the first scene is through Panorom Editor. But if you want to keep the first scene unchanged, there are two other ways to do that. First solution is to add "start" parameter to your Panorom shortcode for example [panorom_id=10 start=2]. The other solution is to add panorom_start parameter to the query string of your url. for example: yourdomain.com/?panorom_start=2.
Thumbnail Bar
The thumbnail bar is placed under your tour and is a collection of all the scenes inside your tour. The user can now move around the tour not only using hotspots but also by clicking on the thumbnail of a particular scene.
